Raptor 6.2 VS SD 6.2

So whats the real world hp/tq numbers to the ground difference between the Raptor 6.2 & the Super Duty 6.2L. Tuned a very, very nice Raptor with 900 miles on the odometer with no mods but a 93 octane tune. See graph, i was able to lay over our SD 93 octane on same graph its the lower 280 number. Got to love these 6.2L.

Yea i enjoyed that Raptor truck. Its so light and nimble compared to the SD makes as if the 6.2L has mucho power. The way it accelerates and the way the suspension handles the power it feels like it could just jump the nearest ditch.

It is interesting to note that the SD 6.2L puts out more torque than the Raptor up until almost 3200RPM. Or is that an affect of playing around with the go-pedal for some reason?

Good point Art, might be gearing or the larger tires.

Well, the larger SD tires would make it appear to have LESS torque on a dyno.

What is the gearing versus tire diameter for the Raptor vs. the SD in this test?

And, without looking it up for myself (har har), what tranny is in both? Same? Or different?

Both trucks ran in 3rd gear and 3rd gear in both trucks is 1.52 to 1
raptor has a 4.10 gear and sd has a 4.30 gear...

raptor- 315/70R17 =34.36 inches
sd - 265/70R17 = 31.60

And this will sound crazy but the tread pattern on the raptors tire is not a good dyno type tire the cleats flex a lot on the rollers during acceleration. I know crazy right but a good hard narrow tire is better.
