Does anyone know if there is any special procedure to removing the fuel rails on a 2003 Ford F150 4.6L engine in order to get to the spark plugs? Need to change a plug and trying to do it myself but have never done so before.
You shouldn't have to remove fuel rails to change plugs. Go to the top of this section, on the third item down it reads in bold red letters - Read First, 1997-2003 F-150 Frequently Asked Questions. You will find details for changing plugs in the 4.6/5.4 motors.
Hope this helps, it did for me...
