Quick Hitch question.

I am looking at a Cls V hitch to replace my rusted up cls III/IV on my PSD. The Cls V is off a 1989 F350.

Anyone know if this will bolt up to my 1996 frame the same? Thanks in advance.

It should fit............I swapped a 1988 onto a 1996. It was a Draw-tite.

Oh I dunno...I looked at my buddy's 80's for my '97, and I forget what it was, but I ended up buying a new one for the proper fit. I think the 80's might be slightly narrower?

It'll bolt on. I snagged a Class V for my 94 off of a junked 89 out of the yard. You can never have to big of a hitch, unless its the service! LOL!

87-97 F-250 and F-350 Frames are the same. The hitch will bolt up exactly the same.

Make sure the f350 isn't a dually. I got a hitch from a f350 dually and had to do modifications to make it work. Modifications made it a lot stronger.
