I know what you mean Morris.. When the wife's mother passed away she went to stay with her father for a while.. It was only a few miles away but she was gone for a couple months.. The kids and fended for ourselves.. Guess that was when I started cooking full time for the family.. Her father would drive over to eat most nights..

Good evening Nova Scotia, Morris, John, Brian, seventy and all who lounge here..
Had a good day.. Got my knees in the breeze.. Rode out to the Harley Davidson shop and test rode a new bike.. Got my free tee shirt. Bought a new helmet. One of those light half helmet that is smaller than normal but dot approved.

So far I only have the cab and box sanded but need to go over them again with a finer grit before polishing. Sanded one of the front fenders today and started the other, still have lots to do. Trying to get the smoothest finish I can on this one Morris, don't know why because I'm going to drive it just as much if not more than the panel so bound to get stone chips regardless..

There was a really nice used Harley at the GM dealership I deal with that they got on a trade in, they were asking $12,000 for it marked down from $14,000. Not sure of the model as I'm not really into bikes , it was liquid cooled and didn't have a very big fuel tank so not likely very good for long cruises. You might know more about it by that description...
