Oil cooler upgrade?

Is there any other cheaper option for replacing the oil cooler with an upgrade other than the Bulletproof one?
Does anyone have experience with the Semi Bulletproof kit? Will the stock oil cooler just fail again?

I still have the stock oil cooler and don't really see the need to go with any other.

I forgot to mention that I am blowing white smoke at idle when cool on a truck I just bought w/ 85k miles and I am planning to replace the EGR cooler. So, I am planning to replace the oil cooler at the same time, just wondering if there is something I should change it to?

Any coolant filter kits that anyone can recommend?

Thanks

The stock cooler's only issue is if there is casting sand from the building process that's still left in there. If there isn't any casting sand(like my oil cooler) you shouldn't have a problem unless it is induced somehow by a person.

I have heard good things about a kits that are supposed to be better then stock for both the EGR and Oil Cooler, but I don't believe that the EGR and Oil Cooler are bad from the factory as people seem to think that they are.

There are one or two kits that people seem to favor, that's something else that I don't use but you might want to ask bismic on what he favors.
