Telling Lies In America

Hello everyone,

Has anyone out their ever seen "Telling Lies In America" ? It was kind of a small movie filmed in Cleveland about 1997. My dad and I had 2 of our trucks in it. If you ever get to see it, when the father and his son are walking down by the steel mill towards the end of the movie, our rusty green 55 chevy drives by and in the background is our red 57 ford f600. We got paid $300 for just sitting around all day eating and talking to other people who were also their with their old cars and trucks. Everytime I see that movie on TV it's right at the part where our trucks are.

If I lived in LA, I would be all over the "extras" auditions. That sounds like a lot of fun for some extra dough. And they can use my truck in a movie anytime they want to for $300!

My truck's previous owner was a Hollywood guy that used the truck in a low budget movie called 'Marshal Law'.

Jimmy Smitts drives around in my truck. During a hokey earthquake scene, a palm tree falls on my truck! D'oh! But the FX guys did a good job so the truck escaped harm.

Now I say it's "Tested, Ford Tough!" The movie was really bad, but of course I've got a copy on video just because my truck *stars* in it!
