You will need to call them and have them send you new programming for it to display all features on an '04 truck. It wouldn't hurt to hook it up to your computer and see if there is an update available for it that already contains the needed changes. Last I heard, it was still in testing, but they will send it out if asked.

it should all be there .. you canplug it in to your computer and check for updates but they are so new I doubt yours will need it ,, also make sure it asked you what vehicle and it looked for your vin.. if not unplug from your truck and it and do it again

The update I am talking about that you have to call them up and get will let you manually enter the vin number in, then you will get the other pids. BTDT.
This is only an issue on 2003 & 2004 6.0.

I bought one when they first came out, and was pissed that it didn't give me all the info I expected. I worked with a guy there on it proving that there was an issue, and when they gave me an estimated time to fix of six weeks, I sent mine back.
Two days later he emailed me and said they had a fix and he wanted me to beta test it. I had a friend who was more patient than me who kept his, so he did it on his truck. It took a couple of tries, but he got his working. I ordered another one, put the beta test update in mine, and it has worked perfectly ever since. Finally let me diagnose and fix my overheating problems as I could really see what temps things were(and in my case were not) happening at.
If you call them, and they say they have no idea what you are talking about, ask for the tech department and talk to Rob(if I remember correctly, it's been a few months).

Because from what the guy told me that sent me the update, it's still in testing because they're still having several people that get the update and it makes their unit go crazy, so they have to "un-update" it. But according to the guy I talked to, it's not necessarily just a problem with '03s and '04s, it's just a problem with tuned '03s and '04s because of the VIN being erased off of the PCM.

Not just tuned, any '03-'04 that has had any work done to it where new data has been written to the PCM. Back then, even ford was guilty of taking a shortcut and not saving and rewriting the vin data back when doing updates.
