My F600 Crewcab Dually Project
I've been scanning this site for several weeks now and I've found a lot of helpful information. I'll probably need a lot more help and ideas getting going with my project. I have what I feel is a pretty solid plan. I'm sure it's been done, because I've found pictures of completed trucks, but this one will be mine.
I bought a wrecked 92 F600 cab and chassis a few months ago with a 6.6l that has just under 34k on it. I hadn't intended to do much with it other than repair the damage and use it, until I started seeing some of the custom trucks out there. I started looking for my ideal build and decided on making an F600 Crewcab Dually.
I picked up my F350 cab and bed yesterday and am really looking forward to getting started. If there is enough interest I'll try to document as much of the work as I can to help others that might be interested. Let me know.
I welcome any and all questions and remarks.

Need afew things and can't post in classifieds!
My F600 has front end and drivers side damage. The things I know I need are;
Front nose piece, radiator support.
Steering box-Bendix #2261899
Front left inner and outer fenders
I'm in the Chattanooga TN area.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have never dinked around with a F-600 or larger truck, though in the future that would be of interest to me as well. I have my hands full right now, LOL!
I like the project you have going here! Pics would be really awesome! Is the F-350 cab the same as the F600 cab? This is a very interesting project!

Worked on trying to get the F600 started this afternoon so I can move it around. It run out of fuel sometime back and now I'm having a real time getting it going. Got a sputter out of it but that's it. This is my first diesel, but I've got some experienced help available. Pretty sure it's air and trying to work it out with the hand pump. Anybody got any 6.6L experience they care to share?
Thanks,
John B.
