talk about feelings hurt~~~~been there done that-had folks suggest a place and not show~~~~~~were still here partying!!!!!

 

The last time at Vera's it was just Junior and I.

 

I am new ,so not familiar with all that has gone on. But I tried to get my truck back together so i could make it to the meet at Vera's. I just didn't get all of the correct parts in time. I try to stop in here and check things out whenever possible. It has been a rediculously busy time the last few months , so it's been hard. If it can happen , another meet at Vera's or some other place in that area would be great. I would be there and also have a few other friends that would more than likely bring thier trucks as well and that would make it easier to recruit them to the site.

 

I'm all for trying it again at vera's!

 

I won't suggest anything to anyone anymore. most times I suggest places I have been too, or have heard good things about, even knowing I can't make it. I live on 9 acres, have 20 acres in NC to care for and a building in Balto city, I can't even beg people to work on and get paid to do it. I do what I can, while working 6 days a week.

 

Sounds like its time for another joint meet with DE. Your 2 or 3 with our 2 or 3 should be a great time pickin on Jr. What you all think?

 

I would have to agree on this with George. Maybe can discuss on ways to get everyone motivated again like when I first joined this site. Try to think of stuff we did in the past the we all had fun and a lot of laughs.

 

George, this may be the first time I agree with you (except for the Jr part) in a very long time! How 'bout Red-Hot & Blue just off Rt 50 east of Annapolis? On the 16th or 17th? No good for me the weekend of23/24 as it's Gettysburg Halloween campout weekend.

 

Thats a great idea Bud. except I wouldnt be able to make it. I will be out of town that weekend reenacting.

 

There's always the 30th.........or the PM of the 31st. Altho that IS Halloween. Everyone would be home by dark tho.....

 

the 31st would be better for me.

Hey...maybe you guys can head to MA...your 2 or 3...Delaware's 2 or 3...and MA's 2 or 3...that's somewhere between 6 and 9. Might have to wear name badges and rent a hall!!!Slim pickings in a lot of states!!!
