I can envision an apparatus like a tanning bed where you smear some type of cream over the tattoos you want to remove and then laying in the light bed for a couple of treatments to remove them. Right now, from what I've heard, it's a very painful procedure to remove them, I can't imagine some one going through an entire body removal with the current methods.
When I was young I considered getting a couple of tattoos but then I talked to a couple of people who had them. I don't like needles all that much and what they told me didn't seem very pleasant.

Nothing pleasant about getting a tattoo. Ranges from mildly unconfortable like a heavy sunburn to downright painful depending on where and the skill of the artist. Each to their own, but getting them because it's a fad is plain stupid especially just picking from flash on the wall (typical: cartoon characters, snakes, daggers, hearts, panthers etc. No offense to those that have those designs...) without any thought to why that design or where it's going on the body. It's like buying a random piece of jewelry at a flea market and pinning it permanently to your butt, back or shoulder just looks out of place and dumb. When I see the shows on TV I think about if I would get one, but cannot come up with anything I'd like to commemorate permantly on my body.

My old F3 Marmon Herrington has a bullhorn on it. When I restore it I will probably leave it in a place, it is a one-owner vehicle (well two if you count the son, though it never left the ranch). Although with the advent of so much obesity, I will have to be careful where I honk it. Could get a herd of heifers stampeding over to trample my restored treasure in their quest for amore!
