There is a separate thread where people have listed their 6.2l overall miles. You'll find plenty of higher mileage 6.2's in there reporting zero problems. Don't recall any 800,000m plus rigs though.

I'm a 2011 with 135,000m tuned, gas deleted(no cats) and zero issues.

This post sticks out as one of the higher mileage units I recall.

I'm on my second diesel truck after owning nothing but gas trucks and this one still puts a smile on my face every day. Having said that I'm kicking the tire on perhaps a '17 6.2 for a family member and I don't want to end up with another Triton gas performer.

not a problem

other than maintenance.

I replaced the idler pulleys and serpentine belt at 140,000... little squeaking of ONE pulley bearing. and were original..

with a 5,000 mile trip upcoming... with trailer and motorcycle
I changed the engine oil and filter, transmission fluid and power steering fluid... checked everything else.. as the 150,000 mark will happen 2,000 miles from home.

Let's talk about the 6.2.... Care to share a high mileage picture of one!

I didn't see this bashing you speak of. I honestly don't understand two things. 1 - Why a diesel guy would post about diesel in a thread obviously for not only a gas engine but a specific gas engine. 2 - Why there is even an argument. These are two totally different truck designed to fit two totally different needs. I don't think there will ever be a time where someone says my gas can outpull you diesel. Diesel would not be a better truck for my needs just a more expensive one. for me diesel is over kill.

My 2013 has 149,000

Hi guys. Sorry for the delay but the 6.2 is so reliable, I have not been active for a while.
No major problems to read about, a good thing. So here is a pic of my dash with mileage.
enjoy.....

Thanks for checking in Ed you are the man!!!!!!!!

Does the 6.2 have the cam phasers or whatever that were problematic in the modular engines?

just took my 2013 f350 6.2l in for a cel misfire code. they found it needed spark plugs and has a cracked exhaust manifold. nothing but routine maintenance for 139000 miles
