Got an 84 frod f 150 2 wheel drive auto od trans in need of a carb cleaning and a rebuild on the carb.

trying to find, at the very least, an accelerator pump for this truck, but around here, finding things is difficult at best.

The tag on the carb reads E1TE CMA and under it has D OL 16.

Looking at a couple of different web sites with parts listings, seems I have an odd ball carb maybe. The truck originaly had A/C and a bunch of other junk attacjed to it as well.

My only real question here is, whats the difference in the accel pumps??? Most of the part numbers for a new pump are all the same, with the exception of possibly this particular carb.

engine is a 302

Any ideas if pretty much any accel pump will work?

 

i would go ahead and locate a rebuild kit. the one kit i have is for a 351w, but i had a two barrel on a 289 and it was similiar. the kit i have is Walker carburetor repair kit #15718b. at rock auto .com MOTORCRAFT Part # CT1471 would be for your year carb.



edit: i just pulled the instructions and papers out of my kit, and it say it's for all year 2150s. there's a ton of stuff in the sealed box that i know i won't be needing on my older 2150.
