BTW, it is called a "secondary offense". You can not be stopped unless you are also breaking another motor vehicle law. Wanna bet that a cop can't tail you for 20 seconds and NOT find a motor vehicle law you are breaking?

yeah, commercial vehicles went into effect last month. that's why whenever you call me,1st you hear cussing, then" wait a minute". then. "crap, keep talking while I turn up the volume". by then, all I hear is dial tone, cause ya'll already hung up.

Thats why I got pulled over for going 33 in a 30 when the seatbelt laws come out, betcha in a yr. or 2 they'll do without that part. prob. a good thing. Alot of people can't walk and chew gum at the same time, screwing it up for all of us.

I've lost count of the number of times I have been in a near miss because the other driver was on a cell phone. My wife wrecked her Excursion (and 2 other cars at the same time) because she was making a call in traffic.
Did you know in Germany most cars don't even have radios or cup holders? Society's definition of driving over there is 100X more serious than our casual approach.
