I am wondering what is going on with my beauty here......she's throwing another code, gonna run to O'Reillys again after I get my friend at 10, he got his truck stuck last night, and it was too dark for us to pull him out, I NEED LIGHTS, anyone close enough that has a cutter and welder to help me trim my rollbar to fit my shortbed?

It figures, I get a winch, people notice, and I get called at all hours of the night.

got 3 hours of sleep, and it's too late for me to sit here and sleep.

 

Morning Drew. You need a hidden winch so people won't notice so easily! That's weird about the codes your getting.

 

A quick good morning all and I hope that everything is going well.

 

It's been throwing "Canister Purge Solenoid Circuit Fault" all week, not sure what it means, but it's getting annoying.

I bought the truck with the winch on it like it is, at one point when I still had my 89 I was gonna buy the bumper from my sister for it, the bumper is off a 91, which is why it doesn't fit the body lines.

I want a bumper for my truck that has a flip down license plate access port that hides everything down to the fairlead.

Those bumpers arent cheap at all, and the adapter that was fabbed to make this one fit is welded on, I'd have to see how much was done to the frame when it gets warmer to see if it gets nasty enough to where I would have to modify the frame back to the 92-96 mounts.

my truck threw the same code and it turned out to be the solinoid itself.
and i have a 90 shadow 2 dr. with the same motor and tranny.

Doing pretty good, just trying to enjoy the nice weather that we are having because I know that the other shoe will be dropping sooner than later.

Just a few snow flakes blowing around here... Sioux Falls is supposed to get 1/2 an inch....

I hear there is a blizzard warning for a specific neighborhood in suburban west Omaha.... Pat has been AWOL so it must be true... LOL.

 

Well the fact of the matter is, it's getting very close to that time of the year, when you know who will be complaining for the next four months..yada yada yada......lol
