Day is almost done for me. My stupid internet connection kept going out, been having trouble with it for months, but they never can seem to figure it out. Called the cable company and the service dropped several times while I was on the phone with them. They put me on the on-call list for the next available tech, and he showed up at my house 30 minutes later...
wow... what's the chances of getting service that fast????
Anyway, he added some sort of signal filter, re-wired my cable jack that the modem hooks to, and things are humming along again.

Yeah, the internet is flying now... I can have this site up, plus my remote desktop VPN into the office... woo hoo! I'm so productive it's scary!
