Is my 8 Lug pattern the same as what's on newer ('99-2011) suv/trucks?

My brother in law has a nice set of Centerlines with tires that he had on an early 2000's Excursion. I was thinking of taking the truck out there and swapping them but I don't want to make the 150 mile drive on a chance.

Thanks in advance,

Lewis

No. Since 1998 everything has been metric. Up to 1996 they are all 8 lug x 6.5" circle. In 1997 there were light duty and heavy duty F-250s. The heavy duties were carried over from 1996. Avoid the light duties. They are metric. Stu
