the thing runs rough till it warms up

when i first crank the truck up in the morning it runs rough for about 10 mins. till it warms up { i am in alabama and it can be 90 degrees outside}. the best way to describe it is that it acts like its not getting enough fuel and spits and sputters. if i give it the gas it goes no where. i carried it to the ford dealer and they said it was the ficm. i look on line here and saw how to check it. never did it go below 46 volts. but i want ahead and pull it out and had the joints re solider as advised in here. did the check again and still always have 46 volts. but it still runs the same. anybody have any ideas. 06 model f350 6.0 liter

you need to check the ficm while cranking, while at idle and at 2k rpm. it may take a min or two to start droping. or you may have an injector stiction issue.

rough running

If it runs ok after the rough warm up, I'd suggest you may have injector stiction. I would try a oil change with synthetic 5W-40 and with some Hot Shot's Secret. If it is stiction, that's your best shot at cleaning it up without an injector change.
