FRx

what does FRx stand for? is it a mod? i have searched several ways without success in finding one link. would someone please clarify?

It's a fuel rail crossover for 99-03 powerstrokes at Raffraff diesel porformance, at the site look under hot new products.

well... we dont exactly have few rails LOL we have oil rails so its an HPX high pressure cross over line, helps smooth out engine idol and oil spikes

Steve, if you go to Raffraff diesel- fuel rail was there quote, look it up,and listed as FRx and it is a fuel crossover connection to each head.

hmmm very interesting, this is the first time ive heard of that? Ill check it out.

alright that makes a little more sence, its for a superduty or electric fuel conversion kit, balancing the fuel evenly to each head similar to a HPX line. sorry bout that!

The FRx is for 99-03 7.3's only.

thanks for the info, but if it is for the 99-03, why does it show up in this forum under multiple topics? I have found other info relating to 99-03 models when doing my reseach. It is very confusing to newbies trying to learn the lingo. Please indicate in the future which years a mod refers to. I have found a ton of useful info and look forward to getting more in the future as I do each mod.

You may confused it the hpx. most of us use it.

no, i know that our trux use the hpx, i was searching a topic and the FRx and some other mods were mentioned and I thought it was a mod for our year, not the first time this happened. just thought i would mention to keep it simple for the newbies like me and be patient until we can pick up the terminology.

I got rid of mine with the adrenaline hpop install. Something in the adrenaline equalizes the pressures on both sides.
