Nobody?

Since everyone's so busy that time of year, we could just get together for dinner somewhere.

I would think that somewhere inside would be preferred due to the cold. Dinner somewhere would be good too though. Or have the gathering somewhere that has a meeting room and we could have dinner too.

Yea ditto on having it inside.

I just thought it might be nice for a change for no one to have to worry about bringing food, drinks, ect... Just show up..

Maybe a restaurant in the LR / NLR area?

Maybe a place in Conway? As much as I hate to say it...Golden Corral's usually have large meeting rooms & a variety of food to please the pickiest kids. Though it's only another 45 minutes to the far side of LR/NLR at that point. So I'm open to other suggestions.

Ya something like that would be good. Ryan's is like that too but I'm not sure where one is located in the LR area.

I hope your local one is better than here, the food is, well to be blunt, It'll make a turd, but not good for much else.

I've eaten at places like that. We had a "Fire Mountain" (heard it was owned by the same folks that own Ryan's) here in town for a couple of years. When it first opened it was ok, but the Golden Corral & Western Sizzlin were better. Guess that's why the Fire Mountain is now a Japanesse Steakhouse & Sushi bar. What do you say to renting the Shoguns on Cantrell Joe?

Agreed, we still go there every once and a while because the girls eat a lot from the salad bar, but everything else is just blehh..

Well I was thinking something more in line with the season, but hey I'll let you guys decide.

Joe, if your buying I don't care where...I'll call in sick if I have to. But on a serous note it's been so long since I've spent much time in LR/NLR...let alone lived there, I'm at a loose as far as what's available. Guess we could always hit the Purple Cow (the 5 alarm cheeseburger is great!)...though I don't think that fits in with the season very well.

Maybe we need to drag Cookie into this conversation for some ideas.

And another bump...

I'm hoping someone comes up with an idea soon so I have an excuse to skip the "Christmas party" at work that's going to be in Branson. I'd rather go break bread with a bunch of fellow Ford owners instead of folks I work with. Part of the reason I deal with these folks at work is because they pay me. For some reason they won't let us turn in a timeslip for driving to & from Branson; and they won't offer a crew hauler either.

I talked to Dave a couple of days ago on the phone. He's checking on a place in cabot.. I forget the name now, but they've got a room we might be able to get to ourselves.
