Wipers come on everytime I start the truck...
#46
Mine just did the one swipe thing today for the first time. Believe it or not, it wasn't raining here in the PNW so I didn't need wipers on. Only 3 week old truck, 650 miles. I kinda went "Huh?" Checked to see if wipers were switched on, then I remembered seeing the title of this thread and checked it when I got home. Hope it doesn't become an issue. Time will tell.

Hey, folks!
Intermittent issues like an occasional wiper swipe like this one can be hard to diagnose, but you should let your dealerships know so they can get it documented. If you don't want to make a special trip, you can bring it up the next time you're in for a maintenance appointment. As always, I'm here if you need any additional help.

My 2015 now does it regularly, i.e. almost always, but the "causal" factor seems to be if I leave the drivers door open for more than a minute. If I jump out and immediately close the door, and upon returning, jump in and immediately close the door - no issue at all.
I do have "courtesy" extra swipe after windshield cleaning set to "on.". I should try the other setting, but the windshield really needs the extra courtesy sweep.
