So will the all drum master cyl fit on the booster?

 

Well I think yes & no , The master cyl. for a power booster does not have the push rod. Where as the non power had some have the push rod that comes with it, and once put in you came remove. But I think it's the same other then the push rod. I can't remember this still applies for your truck..

I think probably not. Since they are listed different I would assume the back of the M/C and even maybe the bolt pattern are different. Bore size maybe.

 

Bolt width centers on the MC with power booster looks to be 3.1/4inch 3/8 bolts. orich

 

will this work on a 67 or is it for a 68?

Well that looks like it's for the later models like 73 & up. Fitment yes & no but you'd have to use the later 73-79 brake peddles as they are a little different..

What, I did was got one off a 70 f100 or f250 don't remember now.
I got it to use as a core but ended up taking it to a loco rebuilder and told them what it type of brakes I had drums or disc.

So with that being said, I knew it would fit with no problems.

Aw sorry, I was wrong the later 73 style is about 12" as I see the napa one is 9" round so this should be okay for fitment for your truck.

Well if this looks like it will fit, does that mean It will reach the pedal? That would make the power conversion very easy and quick

 

Well I can't promise but should if they list it for your truck.

I've seen where some guys had to cut the push rod to make it shorter then threaded the two ends and used a coupler to rejoin it back together. This was why I got one from a jy that I knew to fit and if needed I could us the push rod..

So I cant figure out how to create a new post and to be honest, I'm a little overwhelmed! Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure there are links to what I'm looking for but I'll start here.

I also inherited a 1966 F250 2WD Camper Special and need to convert it to a 4WD since I want this to be my daily driver and it snows (RENO!).

SO: I found a 1966-72 highboy chassis. I am thinking about buying it and slowly moving the cab over as I convert it. Everyone says buy a donor and that may be my best option but I also like the idea of starting from the frame up. This truck will never be sold, rather passed along in the family so I want to do it right and while money is always an issue, I dont mind paying to do it right.

So do I get the chassis? comes with dana t case. He sold the front axle so can i just bolt up my existing axles? I'll be doing a power brake conversion as well. He has springs, shackles, manual box, driveshafts (oversized) etc. 79 power box also.

I'm handy, but other than motorcycles and basics, a mechanical newbie (with some respectable friends with more appreciable skills).
