1997 7.3 with a small but steady oil leak on the rear of the engine. It's not in the valley. Is it the rear main or possibly something else?

Could be the plugs on the back of the oil heads, or the turbo o-rings.

im battling my oil leak in the back of the engine somewere, are your manifolds wet? if not then its the turbo region(pedistal orings or ebpv beef), oil gally plug in the back of the head.

my manifolds are soaked and man does it smell! just took off ,my new valve cover gasket, AGAIN and it looks like thats the culprit of 1 quart ever 500 miles or so!

if turbo leaks, it will usually show in the valley by the drain plug.

Mine was the EBPV actuator on the Turbo pedestal. Ran down over the starter, soaking The whole underneath of the truck . Was showing very little oil in the very rear of the valley.
