1974 Lincon Donor Chassis

I can get my hands on a 74 Lincon with a good 460 C6 and rear disc brakes and it has some nice grey leather seats too would this be a good frame to use for a long box build, $500.00

No frame not compatible. The 460 could be rebuilt into a good truck engine, the C6 good tranny very workable, the seats maybe (personal choice), the 9" rear with discs, may be worth the price of the car.

Front discs provide great stopping power for the old trucks but if I were looking for them on the rear the Lincoln is the donor. The 5 on 5.5 truck bolt pattern will have to be dealt with though.

I already have the parts to build a 69 429 with ported and polished heads for my 61 F100 but I thought it might be good parts for one of my other trucks, and I do have matching numbers to build a 428 for the 61 Mercury Shortbox Unibody I have too :0
