Towing a trailer with a '61 p/u

I'm new to the forum and just bought an Econoline... Has anyone tried to tow a vintage trailer with an Econoline? I have a '61 p/u with a 200 motor from a Falcon. I know that I probably need to put in some disk breaks, but do you guys think the 200 and the Econoline can handle something like this? Trailer Vintage 1960's

This is the bumper on my truck... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

Great bumper. I want one like that.

You should be able to pull that trailer without any problems.

Thanks! I wonder if this was a stock bumper that Ford put out. I've never seen one on an Econoline before.

Here is a pic of an Econo pickup with what looks to be the same bumper. This was done as a special promo by Ford. It's possible yours was a special Ford promo as well, or maybe this is your truck??

Every time I got to that link, I end up at some weird Facebook page. I'd love to see the truck you're posting!

Oops! You have to be a member of the oldeconolines Yahoo! group in order to see that. Consider joining.

I moved the pic to one of my websites.
