not a bad job, fan clutch kinda sucks. Need a big wrench and shock it with a hammer, or an air hammer, or rent tools for it at the auto parts store. Otherwise, not too bad.

He carries oem pumps, quite a bit higher but better quality. Just thought I'd let you know that, you can go with a cheapo at the parts store if you wish. I went with a cheapo, I'll see how long it lasts. If it is short lived, I'll pay more next time for oem.

Just changed mine 2 weeks ago. Not a bad job. Got pump from Autozone as well as fan clutch wrenches. Only bad thing I was visiting my daughter in Georgia but I pack enough tools to almost do a overhaul when I travel. Got some strange looks from people living in the apartment complex. Just be sure to check the coolant with the test strips when you are finished.

I've done two in the last week, (different trucks) and yes like everyone else said it is not to bad.

I did make the rookie mistake with the first one... I let some antifreeze get on the belt....sqeal.....forever....well it finally quit.

I have never gotten the fan clutch wrenches, I just carefully use an air hammer and use a large channel lock pliers to tighten it when I am done.

Good luck!

Don't forget the number one rule, put a thin board or cardboard in front of the radiator when you pull out the fan clutch. You have to pull it out with the fan shroud at the same time and the clutch is heavy. No radiator protection, dents in the radiator, don't ask me how I know!

i just took the radiator out gave me lots more room to work, make sure you verify the direction the fan clutch needs to spin off, rent the clutch puller from the auto parts store once you get past the fan clutch its seriously like a 15 min job.
