The next few numbers I do not know. net HP @ RPM

E10 = Econoline Pickup.

287: 2 = Medium Blue Crush Vinyl & Medium Blue Stitch Pattern Vinyl // 87 = Econoline Pickup.

A = Ford type 3.03 3 Speed Manual all Syncromesh Transmission.

17 = ??

3,600 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

129 net HP @ 4,000 RPM

71 = Los Angeles CA Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the Econoline from, but this does not necessarily mean the Econoline was shipped to LA, because...

FoMoCo dealers in Hawaii ordered their vehicles from Los Angeles, so the Econoline could have been shipped to one of the Hawaiian Islands.

The OP is located in Australia, so it's possible that the Econoline could have been shipped there.

If a C4, the TRANS code would be G ... but, Ford used G for all A/T's thru 1978.

One had to know which A/T came with what engine.
