Is the CAC on the high temp or low temp cooling system. Has anyone had any problems with overheating to this point??

There have been no reports of overheating issues anywhere I have been reading.

That occurred to me also. One of the first things that is apparent when you open the hood is all the piping routed everywhere. It doesn't take long to see that there are two different coolant reservoirs which means two entirely separate systems. I found this article interesting because it describes several really evolutionary new technologies on the CAC alone. This engine has so many new technologies that few of us appreciate their value. The more time we get on these trucks, the more obvious it becomes that Ford has developed a truly amazing engine and power train. Come next spring, if the current trend of very few issues continues, Ford can safely run up the victory flag.

The Dodge boys will never let the victory flag fly. The fleet should have many 100000 mile trucks by then but it will require tens of thousands of trouble free 300000 mile trucks before they will call it average. I do have to say though, the detractors have pulled back from the instant bash mode. They are admitting that the start looks good but... My desire is for the Ford owners to stop eating their young. This is what goes on at the other forum. People respond to obvious trolls and the rumors fly.

I regards to how much trick stuff is on the new engine, Cheezit told me there were over 300 new patents awarded to Ford on this engine

Regards

I have towed pretty hard and I could not even get the cooling fan to engage.

The CAC is on the low temp side.

Go to the Tech Folder and download the 6.7 "Bible".
