<HR>

2 boxed sets of camshaft tools by Manzel of Buffalo tool # 6261 made for Ford around 1958. These are 2 different sets not 2 sets mixed up so each box has a couple different sizes not in the other box. Part numbers are numbered slightly differnt so may be from different years. Label on one box says 1958 Edsel Camshaft bearing remover and reinstaller. I located the tool in the 1958 Ford Car shop manual and the 1959 Thunderbird shop manuals which are FE big blocks but not 100% positive what all other size engines these will fit. More pictures at http://emberglow65.shutterfly.com/2480
$150 OBO for both sets

I'd like to have those sets, but I don't expect to change cam bearings very often.

Interesting it says "1958 Edsel...."...makes me think I know the right answer for what does FE stand for now.

I believe that 1 set is just for the FEs and the other is for Lincoln, Mercury and Edsel. The biggest Y blocks.

Good price for a collector piece too with two sets..the one I had bought some many years ago for the FE was from Snap On...and it had a plastic type sleeve coating on it..where ever it is now is anyone's guess..But I beleive I gave around $325 just for the one tool..of course snap on is way over priced anyways..

I also think mine had thin bands on the bearing inserts that expanded to catch onto the bearings and hold them in place so they wouldnt get tooling marks on them ..... I had alot of practice with old bearings and a cleaned up block and made a couple dozen installs before I did a customers motor..LOL...

Hell and mine didnt even come in a nice wood box either ! I like the wood box's as they keep the moisture away from the tool..Not like the metal ot plastic case's..
