Also as a side note I'm not sure if you recall that I broke an aftermarket pipe type under engine motor mount system. These headers kept the engine from falling out of the bottom of the truck.

I had a new custom motor mount system made that is very stout. there's NO movement on the Engine that doesn't involve the frame. So it I floor it (which is a little scary and after the first time I haven't done it since) or get on the gas, the cab moves with the frame and engine.

Here's the mounts I had made - STOUT!

Nope, I had it custom made by the same guy who welded up my headers.

Almost in the rolling chassis...

Hi Folks,
I don't have this one in the truck yet... As a matter of fact, I don't have the truck together yet but I do have lots of it done. My '53 will be a '53 in appearance only as it is going to be a '53 cab and bed sitting on a modified Explorer 4WD chassis with a T-Bird SC IRS. The engine is a '90 Super Coupe engine coupled to an M5R2 tranny and manual transfer case from an '88 F-150. I will be sitting the engine in the rolling chassis in a week or so and I will try to get some pictures of that stage and post them here in this thread. Below is a video of the engine and one of the car I harvested it from doing a burn out.

YouTube - SCengine-clean.AVI
As the camera zooms out you can see why I am not saving the car.

YouTube - SClast-run.AVI
Not bad for an engine that sat in impound for two years and has two year old gasoline running in it.

You can CLICK HERE to see more details on the project.

Later Folks...

seizure, here is the before and current of mine. Pls note the lack of duct tape ....although after looking at GNW's, it appears duct tape and even wood blocks are common accessories.
