Bench seat fo 53 f100

I am wanting to replace the bucket seats in my 53 with a bench. Can someone tell me what will fit without needing to cut it down? I would like something with head rests. I saw a 56 at the Goodguys in Kansas that had a seat out of a 91 f150. Did not think to ask if he had to shorten it.

I have a seat out of a 2000 f 150. It's a straight bench, no divided back, no armrest, built in headrest. It does not have built in seat belts so have to mount the seat belt system. It fits well and required minimal bracket construction.to mount. It tilts forward to allow access behind the seat.
Works well in my 55.

I've got a bench seat from a 90's chev half/ton that sits in quite nicely in the 56 pickup cab I have and there is about an 1 to 1 1/2'' clearance to each door. This is a future project and the seat is just sitting there but doesn't look like there would be much modification to bolt it down. If you were thinking of picking something up at a wrecking yard just remember to take along a measuring tape and think of what you have planned for your door panels. If you are planning to have arm rests you have to consider them for the seat back to lean forward to access behind the seat back.

I had a seat out of a 92 F150 that I bought on CL for $75...it had molded in headrests and a dropdown armrest and it was the perfect width for my 56. The best part of this seat was the fact that the back part of the seat was thin and made for better leg room.

I have one from a 2006 Tahoe (second row w/headrests) I just installed about two weeks ago. I just use some pieces of 2x2 & 2x4 tubing and a few pieces of flat metal to make brackets, there is about 1-1 1/2 " on each side. I was looking for the 90s chevy seat found one for $50 but the guy sold it before I could get there.
