Pike Fair --- One of the good ole all american fairs. My father-in-law and I built the old belt driven sawmill (from 1800's) which displayed at the old "yester-year" area... farm equipment and such near main road front. My wife went to Fillmore School, lived in Hunt.

Upstate NY --- Be-a-u-tiful area. Your deer make FL deer look like hamsters!

Enjoy your winter ... her folks will be running south soon!

You should see Upstate NY this week! Weather has been BEAUTIFUL (sunny and 70's everyday, just a little rain yesterday), and the fall colors are among the best I've ever seen. The maples are brilliant orange-gold, and the sumacs have to be seen to be believed- from deep red to intense bright orange. If the weather holds out, this will be one of the most beautiful falls we've ever had. Next time I'm driving south on Rte. 19 I'll honk to everyone as I drive through Warsaw, Rock Glen, Gainesville, Pike........

 

I wish to see that again someday --- last was the year we were up for vacation and i was with Pop building the sawmill for display in Pike.

Familiar with Avon area? My brother-in-law owns Aaron's Paint and Body --- he has a beautiful 50's F Series, real show stopper with several trophies!

Hi everyone! I'm just dropping by to say I am going to be around more than I have been. I'm not new but I wasn't here much - nothing to do with the site - I think it's awesome! In fact I was amazed at all the improvements! WTG!
