So why do you trust Dodge to build you a pickup

Dodge isnt building there motor, its a cummins! I looked at the GM also but just like the ford you cant find the motor under the hood. i dont know what they are thinking when they designed it but it would of been nice with a tilt nose. they should of found a way to keep running the 7.3 that is in my 95, 99, 01 and 02 trucks that run great the best truck and motor you could buy until 03 and it has gone down hill ever since. hopefully the new motor works but if it doesnt a cat would be the best thing they could do!!!

just filled up for first time and it got 14.3 mpg. most on the dodge forums are claiming around 18 mpg with out any deletes. if i stay at 14 mpg i will be happy anything over that is a bonus for me. my 6.4 never got better then 12 mpg. not that it matters but if it does better i will let you know. i am planing on egr deletes and smarty programmer.

See you’re in the business too I’m a general contractor and have a few trucks all fords except my newest 11 ram. I talked to a lot of ram owners on the job sites before making my decision. Biggest complaint was cheep interior and if you look at a 11 you will see they more then stepped up in that department. The engine is the single most expensive thing in a truck and I don’t want to worry about it and time is money!

I like the miles per hour stat on our trucks. Not sure if it's really that important unless you come across an extreme case of lots of idle or really fast driving.

The new "11's have two hour meters, Engine hours and idle hours.

I would like to have that feature...idle hours would be extremely useful.
