So I went to the Outdoor Farm show yesterday (because I get paid to go ) and there was this interesting Merc pickup at one booth. Slammed to the ground, has some old Caddy or other GM front wheel drive V8 & transaxle mounted in the box for power. Hard to believe the thing is street legal, especially with open pipes! but has current plates on it. Interesting to see how the box was widened to fit the drivetrain. And it is an Ontario barn find, I could make out faded "RR 1 Cainsville" lettering on the doors.

I've seen/heard this truck at Waterdown, its not as loud as you might expect.
I think it was a Cadillac Eldardo drive train. The Rat Rod is alive and well!
