Year: 1999 Make: Ford Model: F-350 Price: $6000 Mileage: 161256 Color: Red Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing Location (State): CT Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD Color: Red Engine: 6.8L V10
99 ext cab short bed, auto, 160k, little rust....
It has a 6" Rough country lift with dual shocks up front, ladder bars in the rear, 4.56 gears, limited slip in rear, 37" Truxs Mud radials with about 50%(1 has slow leak, takes about 3 days), new 3" exhaust and blowmaster 40 on it, AFM intake, SCT Cortex tuner, Kenwood stereo, frame is hardly rusty as body except for bottom 1" of rear doors have been replaced with stainless and outside has been herculined to body line about 8" up on entire truck.
V10 is shot......but has 1 3/4" SS headers on it; It has loud metallic banging noise from lower end. Shut her off, found a 1/2" hole in DS 1st piston side of block. Needless to say it needs a new engine. What a shame; I just got the body and rest where I want it, and blammo 160K miles of neglect paid off. Too bad the poophead before me who neglected it didn't still own it....
So I'll trade the project for a mid to large truck, ext cab at least(3 kids) or a SUV. I have about $7500 into so I may be crazy(yes, I am...) so I'd like to get 5k cash or BO, or like trade for it....
I now have a 2000 motor for it with 70k on it, ran well when pulled. I got everything out of the way, down to the motor mounts, tranny bolts, and harness is disconnected from current engine.
Summer is almost upon us and I can barely keep up with the house, nevermind the truck. In 2 full days this can be done.
Part Trades? Guns? Smaller, regular trucks? Jeeps? I'm open to sacrificing this project for a decent running 4x4 of some sort, let me know any ideas you might have. Keep in mind I have about 7-8K into this so don't offer junk or ridiculous offers.. I've been very honest about this vehicle and just dont have the time to finish it.
If you are truely interested in a good running 4x4 I have a 79 F350 400m Np435 4 speed- granny low, 4" sup lift. 35" tires new rims fresh paint. But it is a single cab. Idk just thought I would offer i have lots of extras for it and have thought about selling recently. Give me a call 830-832-2803. I am out of Sturgeon Bay WI.
Thanks
Boomer

This truck is solid, I have a clean title and originally it is an arizona truck. only spent one winter up here in WI and hardly ever was on the road during that time to keep the salt off.

Im going to do 39.5 radial pitbulls on it, lockers, and wheel the hell out of it. I have a custom ARB style bumper being made for it and a superwinch 12.5k winch. Also a 04 Dana 60, new hubs, bearings and gears.
I might truggy it with a aluminum cage/flatbed on it....shorten the frame 2' or so.
