The tag reads.

3.00 9 344B

I know its a 9" 3.00 gears, but from reading a thread from earlier this week a went out and jacked up the rear and spun the driver side tire. The tire I spun went in the opposite direction of the other tire. So is this an open-differential?


Can someone decode this for me, thank's.

 

yep it is a open diff. If it was a factory limited slip it would read "3L00" as your ratio.

 

That tag has plant codes,bearing codes,date codes and ratio codes on it.

 

So thats what all that other stuff is. Thank you.
