Quick question. What size is the pipe stock from the catalytic converter on a 94 5.8? I am going to throw on a new muffler, and I am want to know what size inlet to order.

2 1/4" before the cat. and i beleive it may be 2 1/2" after but dont quote me on that it may be all 2 1/4". I did away with all of the piping and did 2 1/2" true duals cause even a single 2 1/2" is a pretty small exhaust pipe for a big small block v8 to breathe.

 

I think it's 3 inch...the easiest way would be measure it...
