Tahoe seats are in!

I don't have any pics of the brackets. I used 3 pieces of 2x2 square tube & 1 piece of 2x4 tube all pieces were cut to 4 1/2 long. I cut some plates to cover the top of each and drilled a hole in them & welded a 10mm nut to the inside, then welded the pieces to the tops of the tubes. I then welded pieces of 1/8" x4" & 6" for the 4' tube of flat bar to the other end of the tubes and drill holes to bolt them to the cab floor. I used pieces of 1" square tube to raise the front 1" so I can still have access to the battery box. I'll see if I can get a desent picture.

Looks great Jaye!
I only have one question,
The seat is about 58" wide? I never realized the 53 and up cabs were that much wider than the 49-52 cabs.
I would love to use something like that in my 51 but I think the widest seat dimensions that would fit my cab is about 53" or less.
Thanks
Josh

My stock 51 seat is about 52" wide, and I found a pair (two pieces) of 3rd row seats from a 2007 Tahoe and they are about 48" wide.
Anyone have any thoughts as to this dimension? I am contemplating buying them but wonder if that is to narrow and if the 2&1/2" of extra space on each side will look, feel ok? they are almost brand new, white leather.
Also is your gas tank behind the seat? looks like these might fit better in my 51 if I dont have a gas tank to contend with???
Cheers

Jaye. Keep up the great work. I just might re use that idea. I love how you still have an arm rest. I'm going to be riding mostly with the lil misses during the week days but when my son comes over or if i want to go 3 up flipping up the arm rest for additional room would be nice.
