2011 F250 Roof Leak
Recently purchased a 2011 F250 and needed to make room in my garage so it would fit. Stayed outside one night during a rain storm and to my surprise the following day I noticed water dripping from the grab handle on the passenger side. It does have a moon roof however dealer does not believe it is coming from there which I agree. Has anyone else had challenges with a leak similar to this. Dealer states it may be from the satellite antenna on top of the truck.

both the satelite antenna or teh windshield could be suspect, but i'd bet its the satelite ant.
but either way thats what the warrenty is for..should be a quick easy fix for the service dept. at least its not like chasing a intermitent electrical issue.. a dripping water leak is cake for a tech to find and fix..

Sorry, but I disagree with most here. Maybe I just have trust issues.
Don't trust the dealer. Grab your garden hose and start squirting water on your truck. Remember water runs downhill, so start spraying at the windshield right where the grab handle is and every 5 minutes or so move the water up a few inches until you find the point when it starts leaking.
THEN take it to the dealer and make sure they fix the right part. Otherwise I'd expect to get it back not fixed, but depending on the weather and amount of rain, the leak would continue, possibly unnoticed, causing other untold problems.

I have to agree with F350-6....Having been a Service Manager of dealerships myself I know that on water leaks there is always a battle between mechanical tech and body shop tech as to who is to fix them because water leaks are equally hated by both....they tend to short cut the repairs and have seen so many repairs attempted by just spraying generally unseen areas with undercoating thinking it will seal the leak and shipping it back to the customer....Attempt to locate it yourself and then make the dealer fix it properly and inspect their work....Just my 2 cents...
