400M & 460 Flywheels

400M & 460 Flywheels
I will be converting my 73 4x2 Crew to 4-wheel drive this fall. I plan on running a rebuilt 400M mated to a ZF 5-speed tansmission bolt to a NP 205 transfer case so I have overdrive for freeway driving when traveling in the future. I have a 460 flywheel, pressure plate and disc that were included when i bought the transmission. I know that there is a difference with the clutch discs as to the 460 has a larger 10 slpine center hub 12" diameter and the 400M has a smaller 10 spline center hub 11" diameter. I know that I can fab the mechanical clutch linkage to the 400 with little issues. I need to know if it is at all possible to bolt up the 460 flywheel as it has the larger 12" clutch assembly instead of the 11" that was bolted up to the 400M flywheel. The 460 flywheel had casting # RF-D9TE-6380-BB with a cast oval with a 253P in the center also on the flywheel surface. It has some stamped letters that read E7TR-AA D on a flat machined area near the outside edge. The diameter is 15 7/16 +/_" with a 180 tooth count for the starter ring. I realize there may be an issue with the balance of the 2 different flywheels and that is my main concern prior to bolting in the complete assemble during the conversion. I am open to any other issues that may pop-up if you have do this swap before. Thanks in advance on any information.

And...if you have a 11" clutch, the engine may not be a 400, it could be a 351M.
