Where do I check on the vehicle for the model? Also, how hard is it to check which Injectors are already on the truck? This is obviously a weekend thing, and for the warmer summer months, as I have limited time after work before it gets dark, and the garage on post charges quite a bit to keep a vehicle parked in the bays, but I might have to do that. Once I start with the Injectors, I'll be replacing the head gaskets, and checking the integrity of the heads and internals at the same time.

Also, I still need to call Jim about my build plans, but If I can pick up used cores, and work on them, rebuild them, I might be able to learn something, which is the whole point of this really.

I appreciate y'all for putting up with me, but I'm a quick learner. These stupid questions will end, eventually.

If your truck is a 94.5 then its not a Cali. The Cali didn't come into play till 96. So you will have AA's

I would just let Jim build them. These injector are way to pricey to play with and have more little parts then any other injector.

TikiWiki : H.E.U.I Injector Disassembly and Assembly

Plus you won't find the internal orings for them.

Well, that's an awesome link, I'll make sure to save that!

And thanks for clarifying on that, good thing too, I could have jumped the gun and got a set of used AB cores for 224 shipped, guess I could have been a bit SOL on that buy(maybe?)

I'll talk to Jim first, I think we have Friday off, for the Easter weekend, so that will be good for me to talk to him about that. I was hoping to just rebuild a set of injectors, so I could limit the downtime on my truck, but I'll see when it gets there.. I have the money for the Injectors, but then I'll probably be broke for the next 2 weeks haha!

Yea, I just started on the front end, and budgeted this paycheck, I've got a new 3 row aluminum radiator, a coolant filtration system, a new header panel, grille, and headlight bezel assy's as wel as a really nice cold air intake.. I must say, a good start.

and still deciding when to replace the front bumper, or the hood..I got enough left for one or the other until friday.. Maybe wait till then to get both? I'll post in my project thread on friday, all the nitty gritty things I want to replace.

If I'm going broke, at least I'll have a truck to get me there!
