I have lots of pictures of the adapters etc, but they are on my old computer. I keep thinking someone can load them onto the new one, but I can't. I think if you go to wheeladapters.com you will find the 8 lug to 8 lug dually adapters. They are a high quality adapter. Unfortunately, the price reflects this.....

thanks so far. I see the U-bolt spacing is 2" wide for the 1 ton, and 1.75" for the 1/2 and 3/4 ton.

In this chart, it shows more differences between the 1/2 and 3/4 ton vs the 1 ton.

I would think you could also take the 6 bolt hubs to a machine shop and have the hub centering part of the wheel machined to the right diameter for the 8 bolt and have a new bolt pattern drilled. If you had some machine tools you should be able to do this yourself as well.
