I need some opinions from this bunch.

I have sold my 49 coupe and my 16" wide white walls that are on my truck are going with it.

I still have my red steelies and blackwalls which will go back on for now. I am thinking about putting wider wide whites on my 15" wheels or should I stay with the blackwall look.

The steelies are staying. I do not do the aluminum, foose, boyd, billet crap.





Never mind my Shiltz mobile. Just the reds and the blackwalls.

i like the www with the black wheels.

 

Can't go wrong with WWW.

 

White is classy, but plain black look sharp on a meatier tire.

 

I think it depends on the truck.

If your truck is "dressed up" a little more, then the WWW look terrific!

But if it's still a little more "rough," primered or patinaed, then the black walls would look better.

On your truck I like the wide whites!

Blackwalls are better tires, too. Far more choices in size, tread, etc. With trim rings they look great.

 

Maybe this will help:

 

White walls on a truck is about as bad as chrome on a Jeep. JMO, but what do I know, I'm an old guy.

Ray, don't be such an old grump, I didn't think I would want white walls on my panel but my wife wanted them. I have a set of Mexican tires on it now so I figure before I dumped money on a real set of white walls I'd throw some paint on them and see what they looked like. I kind of like the look:



How about fender skirts?:

 

The white walls look GREAT. Not to sure about the skirts though

 

Don't worry, the skirts were just shopped in to give 51panelman a rise.
