Bo And Luke Duke Build

Alright guys Ive got a 1993 Ford F150 4x4 Im building my truck into what I beleive that Bo and Luke Duke would have built if they had the same kind of truck as Young Buc (my truck) im going to post alot of pics during this.

These are my plans for the truck, Im repainting the truck black, I am painting CAMO yes I said CAMO racing stripes, A Rebel Flag on the roof of the truck, 01 on each side, and General Lee on each door, Im keeping the rims and painting them black.

I have put a Throttle Positioning Censor, and IAC and new Throttle body gasket since my last gasket was the side of a Mountain Dew box.

The Head Ach rack was given to me I put the Mesh in it and painted it black.

The Deer Killer I put on yesterday

I have Also put a New Clutch System in it.

These are pictures of Young Buc when i first got her.

These are pictures of how Young Buc sits today.

Pictures of the CB I JUST put in acouple days ago.

I Hope All Of Yall Enjoy This Build This Build Is Dedicated to my Grandpa and The WHOLE Texas Chapter

Yeah Rob! Young Buc's looking good! I haven't posted much in my build lately but I've been hovering in the "what have you done" thread. I'm pumped you started this thread, dude! I'll be following it for sure. Keep up the good work!

By the way, do you know where I could find all that overhead stuff in Young Buc? Like the shelf and the CB rack?

what engine? 302,351 or 460?
so you pretty much you want to make a moonshine runner.
if you want speed and handeling keep your front axle.
if you want beast get a dana 44. you can get one for like 100 or 150 bucks.
you should you spray cans of bedliner and line your whole truck haha
i like the cb radio, i have one in my 96 150
you shouold get a cargo net $20 new, and some spotting lights for the driver side door, cuz we all know how much fun spotting deer is hahaha and maybe throw on some kc's on that rack.
come to think of it a flat bed on that truck would be sick, not a big *** one just a small one.
just my opinion of how the dukes would do it

If it's the Dukes' dream you're aiming to build, I think it needs to be built to perform like a pre-runner. The suspension is going to be where it's at. Think of all the jumping they always did, but I don't think the outward appearance should be modified to heavily. Their Charger wasn't customized too much outwardly, so I think you should build up a sleeper of sorts.

My take: suspension travel, good mid-upper range power, and a fairly stock looking exterior. Don't weld the doors shut

Actually i strike the comment about orange. if i remember correctly the general lee lost to the General Grant 00 Car which was a ford mustang. I myself have always thought what fun it would be to have a 4x4 built like the general grant and a dodge 4x4 built like the general lee. what an amazing thing that would be. i realize that was not what you was looking for but hey its my .02. whatever you choose i hope you have fun with it and post many pics

The Flag on the hood is a little nicer but still ide stick with the Lee and put it on the roof. What is your exhaust system like? I.E. Cat back or what?
The Dixie horn is a must. It aint a Duke mo-bile with out the horn.
Mount it where there is no restrictions. I regret mounting mine in the engine compartment.

Im following too!

Hey Rob. I sent you a PM with those camo sketches you asked for. Now that I'm thinking about it, make the brown splotches big fat ones, not those branchy ones I drew. Anyway, I absolutey agree about the horn.
