military hummer tires

Has anybody put military hummer tires and wheels on their truck. If so did you have to use offsets for the tires to fit. Thanks Matt

Ya know those tires don't last very long on pavement. The goodyears are the worst but they all suck on pavement. the ctis would be nice though. I have the back end figured out and still working on the front for a design. It's in my plans soon.

I've got the 37' goodyear wranglers. I'll be getting another set once these are done. I haven't exactly kept track of mileage, but for me they are just what the doctor ordered. As for offset, not sure. They came with aftermarket rims and were off a single rear wheel chebby. She's definitely got a wide stance in the front since I kept the dually hubs. Sorry I couldn't be more precise.

tires

hey man yeah i had them on my 93, they will go and dont ware 2 bad, are you looking at the bais or raddials??? bias are 36 wouldnt go with them, the raddials are where its at!!! i had them dulled up on my 93 and have a set mounted and ready 2 go under my 96. i found out dont put them on a wide wheel go with a 10 0r 9.75 looks better, and no off set nedded, you need at least 6 in 2 clear them good, i had 4 on my 93 and had 2 trim the front bumper, so i went with 6 on my 96. i can get them tires all day long for 200 bucks a set!!!

same thing here- 37/12.5/16.5 goodyear wranglers. i got the whole set new from a good buddy for $350, and i love them! they fit my current rims and the only thing i did with my truck was shim the bumper out to clear them since she's only lifted 4"

they seem to wear well- my buddy (jokingly of course) told me they'd last me forever. they've been on over a year and still look like new. keep in mind though, my truck is not my dd and only sees 5-8k mi per year tops.

With the way she drives, you'd be surprised they have lasted a week!

Well, mike doesn't count, cause his truck was just a lawn ornament. And I rode with you in the honda too. Glad that thing had tread on the tires.

=)

All in fun anyways. hehe.

I think I need to see some pictures of your truck with the 37's and the dually hubs up front...

I've got a couple pics in my gallery under RSK and such. I need some updated pics though. Done more stuff to her since then. I'll see what I can do. I have to run the front rims inverted otherwise the entire rim is outside the fender.
