Unhappy 1994 F150 Odometer

I picked up a 1994 F150 straight 6, 5 speed. I've fixed most of the bugs, but the Odometer does not have readout. All other instrument work fine. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Is your speedo working properly? If it is and the odo isn't working, it's the read-out that's the problem. It may be broken or unhooked from the back of the cluster.

If the speedo isn't working, it is the VSS sensor thats the problem.

You can pull the speedo (PSOM) out of the instrument cluster and see if the ribbon cable to the odo is damaged or disconnected, but it probably just died. They're easy to replace, but hard to find in junkyards because they try to sell the clusters whole. I often pick them up, but I sold the last loose one I had a few weeks ago.
