Factory DVD Remembers movie position

I am hoping there is a simple solution to this.. But I have noticed that the factory dvd always remembers where you left off on movie and then continues playing from that point when you re-insert the movie. To make matters worse, using the touch screen up from there seems to be no easy way to restart the movie other that rewinding the chapters back to the beginning. Please tell me there is some setting that changes this as it is really annoying.. Kids are too young to use the controls themselves.
