Folks,

I am currently in an election for Indiana Chapter Leader on here and would appreciate any support from the Indiana members in this forum (I consider this my home forum ) or if you know any other Indiana members...please point them to this thread for voting.

I'm back in the country...well kind of...I'm in Kalifornia!...sorry Stewart!

I was over in South Korea for a little over 2.5 weeks...I've been there 4 times in my working career...I REALLY like Korea...but I don't think I could convince my wife to move over there...plus I don't think they pay what I'm used to being paid! I've logged almost 185,000 flying miles this year alone and I'm not done yet...thankfully with all those miles we've taken some awesome family vacations...in fact the Misses and I are leaving on September 16th for 17 nights ALONE in Hawaii...first class of course!...we were married 23 years on August 29th...as a point of reference...I returned from Korea on August 28th and left on August 30th for LA...I've been married TOO LONG to miss an anniversary!

Seriously...SPREAD the word to any Hoosiers you know on here...I don't care if they don't vote for me...I just want a GOOD turn out on the election!

Well folks...the election is over and it appears I have been elected the new Indiana Chapter Leader!

I'm actually over in Hawaii as I type on vacation and won't return to the mainland until October 4th...so I'm enjoying my new responsibilities from a far right now...

Thanks to everyone that spread the word and for all the kind posts above...I truly appreciate it!

I'm looking forward to working within the Indiana Chapter members to organize some state wide events for our members...given that new responsibility...I'm going to have to give some careful consideration to the Excursion Diversion hosting responsibilities...spliting my time may not be feasible...but I'll contemplate that as time moves forward...right now I'm just enjoying this amazing ocean view out of my hotel window as I type this...the water is so blue and the white caps keep rolling in...Tonight they are having a street festival. The Waikiki Hoolaulea right outside of our hotel from 7pm to 10pm...we're looking forward to it for sure!...we are having a great time so far and we still have until October 4th on various islands!!!

Just wanted to close out this thread with some information for everyone on the outcome of the election I posted about here...

It's well earned, and you're gonna do a bang-up job!

You can do both brother, I have faith.

All it takes it better future-planning and scheduling farther in advance for activities. That way it's easier to put some stuff on the back-burner when the time rolls around and you need to start concentrating more on the Excursion Diversion.
