Just like we are having more cases of cancer because our life expectancy today is much longer.

Ford has had problems with primer in the past. We had a 88 gray step side F150 that the paint pealed on. This guy claims some early EX's (maybe SD's too) had to much time lapse between the primer coat and the base coat causing the base coat to not stick as well to the primer.
This is just one of the reasons why I always try to get the last year of a production generation. Normally any kind of problems vehicles have are in the early production years of a generation. By the end of the vehicle generation they normally have most of the problems worked out.
Our 1986 F250 6.9 diesel was and still is one of the best trucks we have ever owned.

response to snowseeker about auto-lock
using keypad on driver door: Deactivating/Activating Auto-lock
1. Enter the five 5-digit code.
2. Press and hold 7/8 control.
3. Press and release 3/4 control while holding 7/8 control.
4. Release 7/8 control.
The horn will chirp once if auto-lock was deactivated or twice if auto-lock was activated.

Hi folks, Just dropping in to share in the general bs thread. Here are a few photos from a family camping trip in late October. Hanging Rock State Park was the location. We had a fantastic time. Lots of hiking. Waterfalls. Vistas. A great trip overall.

Brought home my wife and my winter toys. Registration on the yami is from 03 and the polaris is 05. I rode the sleds on a field in a few circles one year after that so they have been sitting at least 4 years. Had to spray gas in each cylinder 3 times and they each stayed running after the 3rd time. Gave each of the kids a ride around the back yard and the sleds ran like I just shut them off yesterday. I'll go threw them when I have time and before we make plans to hit the trails with the kids possibly.
