i find you get much better results if you thin the paint with 30-40% acetone, and spray it on instead of using a brush or roller.

here is my roll on paintjob not quite as shiny as i would like but very pleased with it for 50 bucks

they make rustoleum in many different colors... if u go to their website they have them all...your local lowes has quite a few options too

has anyone ever tryed this outside in the heat? cause my garage aint big enough to fit my truck in lol

You can do it outside but....add the price of a pair of tweezers in the budget. You'll be pulling out bugs. lol

It's really pretty hard to screw up. I painted the door jams with the foam padded paint brushes you can get for $0.35 each. Didn't sand between coats and I didn't sand afterwards. The most I've done after the paint was done and on there is pressure wash it at the car wash.

Vactiontime. Are you located in Streetsboro or Ravenna,OH There's a truck sitting on OH-14 that looks jusst like yours?

That looks great, amazing how much the prep and thinning the paint matters. I have seen quite a few brushed on household paint jops that look terrible. I want to paint mine either flat black or primer gray.

Nope, I'm several hundred miles West, just north of Indianapolis, IN.

That's awesome. I'm going to have to look into this. Clyde's needing a touch up on the white stripe. This might be worth a shot. Rob, we gotta do this bro.
