also looking for 67-72 West Coast Style.
Anyone???
Got a good set of stainless WC mirrors if you're still looking. Took them off my 72. The nuts/bolts are rusty, but all else is in very good shape - glass too.
I've got a set of the painted 3 arm west coast mirrors that are on my 69 F350 flatbed, they are pitted but the glass is good and they are complete. If you are still looking for a set.
Need a set of 67-72 3 arm painted westcoast mirrors. To go on my 76 F350 CC
They may look the same, but looks can be deceiving.
1967/72 Western mirrors are not the same as 1973/79 Western Mirrors as the door contour is different and the mirrors are right/left specific.
1973/79: There are two different types of 3 arm Western mirrors. The painted version is a totally different style than the stainless version.
Then there are the painted/stainless versions without the 3rd steady-rest arm. See the link in post #2 = These are 1961/72 painted (C4UZ17696F) F100/350/Econoline Western Junior "swing-lok" mirrors, same right/left.
Only the stainless mirror head is the same 1967/79, has three vertical embossed lines on its backside...the center line is longer than the other two.
D3TZ17696A Left & D3TZ17696B Right .. Stainless Western Mirror Kit w/3rd steady-rest arm / 5" x 9" mirror head = 1973/79 F100/350.
D3TZ17696E Left & D3TZ17696F Right .. Painted Western Mirror Kit w/3rd steady-rest arm / 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" mirror head = 1973/79 F100/350.
NOS: I found FIVE D3TZ17696E & ONE D3TZ17696F at Ford Dealers, obsolete parts vendors. No one has the stainless version.
Both of the above are illustrated in the 1973/79 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog / Text, Section 176, page 5 / Type 3 (stainless), Type 11 (painted).
1967/72 painted (C7TZ17696F), stainless (C7TZ17696E) Western mirrors w/the 3rd arm are the same right/left.

My truck is a '70 F-250 and my stainless 3pt mirrors 3rd arm is different left than right, one is stamped LH and the other RH. I also pulled a set of painted 3pts off a '69 and that too has the 3rd arms marked LH and RH. Both have different twists on on the ends.
